2 Illegal Mexicans - Jose Guerra, 19, and Estevan Rosario, 17, charged in shooting and robbery on Chicago's Southwest side

Two illegal aliens have been charged in connection with a robbery and shooting on the Southwest Side last month.

Jose Guerra, 19, and Estevan Rosario, 17, were each charged with armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery with a firearm, according to police.

They're accused of robbing a store in the 4300 block of West 51st Street on Dec. 14. Guerra and Rosario fled but the store owner's brother, who was nearby, gave chase in his car. He was shot and wounded in the 5400 block of South Komensky Avenue.

Guerra, of the 5800 block of South Fairfield Avenue, was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and violation of parole, according to police.
