Man shot to death by homeowner in Phoenix, AZ - I doubt the news coverage in Chicago would be so favorable towards the homeowner...
CBS 5 - KPHO
PHOENIX (CBS5) - Witnesses said a man exhibited bizarre behavior Wednesday before he was shot and killed outside the home of a Phoenix family.
Jason Floyd Wilson, 35, was yelling at himself and flailing his arms before he was shot by a father outside his children's bedroom window about 2 a.m., according to Officer James Holmes of the Phoenix Police Department.
Holmes said the man had initially tried to break into a parked pickup truck near 28th Avenue and Acoma Drive when the truck's alarm sounded, alerting the owner, who said he saw the suspect in the driveway.
The suspect then ran to a nearby house before going to the home where he was shot.
Holmes said the suspect was working on the window outside the children's bedroom when the family dogs inside the house started barking, waking the homeowner, Holmes said.
The 27-year-old father armed himself with a gun, saw the suspect through the window and yelled at him to go away.
The suspect continued to work on the window where the homeowner's 4- and 7-year-old daughters were and reached into his pockets, leading the father to believe he was going to pull a weapon, Holmes said.
The father fired and hit the victim, who walked into the street before he collapsed and died.
Holmes said the suspect did not live in the area but had friends who lived nearby.
The homeowner currently is not facing charges, police said.
The investigation is continuing.

If these perverted jaggoffs knew this would be their fate we would have a lot less of this bullshit. Every family has the right to protect themselves from monsters like this.
Happens once a month out here in arizona.
old retired guy
not in Shitcago 9:26:( though I agree with you my friend here is the problem.the news media is all against guns yet you never hear a peep about the criminals using them to rob, rape, beat and kill unless they are white.now if a white man defended himself and offed a nigger then cue the well forget it.it'll never get better so why bother
This should happen in every state in America when people's well being is at stake. People have the CONSTITUTIONAL right to defend themselves and should do so when the need arises.Good for the homeowner, I'm sure every judge and prosecutor would do the same, so don't blame anyone but the offender when this happens.
WHY WHY WHY do the Goddamn media always call these guys VICTIMS!!!!!
I have even heard dispatchers do this after police shootings.
This is bullshit, he is an OFFENDER, and in this case he is a good offender because he is DEAD.
Good comments by PO Holmes.
The E/T Copette, although with a few miles on, has a very nice ass.
Nice sight alignment and trigger control Homeowner.
Bang. DRT. I love a story with a happy ending.
Great job by the homeowner, anyone who would think of prosecruting him should be hung.We will never change the US CONSTITUTION just the people who try to.
The saddest part is that people don't know the whole story. He had a wonderful Mom , a brother and other family who care about him. There is more to the story, he was not a sex offender, just confused for unknown reasons right now.... he also did NOT have a weapon, the homeowner COULD have gone back inside and called the police instead of shooting from across the yard where he was safe, not being attacked. I'm all for protecting yourself, but this was unnecessary.

NO. The Homeowner made him good.
Nice Job Mr. Homeowner.
I still think the Copette has a nice ass.
Some people ought to just stay home.
