MUGSHOT: Arnold Ward
A man aboard a CTA bus attacked its driver Monday afternoon, causing the bus to plow into a parked car in the Albany Park neighborhood, police said.
Arnold Ward, whose address is unavailable, 30, is charged with felony aggravated battery to a transit worker, according to police. Ward is expected to appear in bond court today.
Ward began hitting the driver in the head with his fists while the bus, CTA bus No. 6818, was in motion Monday afternoon in the 3400 block of West Montrose Avenue and the bus ended up slamming into a parked car, police said.

I ain't from around there, and just happened to have stumbled on this story. Might I ask what the fuck is penny fare day?. What's the point in even charging for a ride? These of course are rhetorical questions. These are some dark days upon us, god help us!
